Seeking Sugar
After Baby's best friend Gigi dies, Baby takes her place as the head girlfriend of a group of sugar babies working for Billionaire Arnold Harris (played by John O’Hurley). Baby struggles to grapple with her role in Gigi's death and how to move forward without her. When a new girl is introduced to the group, Baby learns she must disregard her moral compass to remain number one in Arnold’s eyes.
Based on the true stories of sugar babies in LA, Seeking Sugar pulls back the curtain into the not-so-glamorous world of sugaring. The film aims to explore the psyche of these young women and what they hope to gain and fear to lose by pursuing this profession. The story focuses on what these young women are wrestling with daily and the moral and physical sacrifices they are willing to make while also attempting to live the life they have dreamed of.
As of August 2024, Seeking Sugar has completed post production! We are very excited to begin to submit it to festivals.
